It’s almost comforting to know that Timbaland is still the sort of person who will recruit Jay Z and Drake, two of the world’s most successful rappers, to drop verses on his single, and he’ll still insist on giving himself the first verse. That’s the case on Timbo’s new single “Know Bout Me,” which, despite its pedigree, seems unlikely to extend Timbaland’s post-20/20 Experience hot streak. It’s a slick and synthy track, and it sounds like 2007. Listen below.
